Psychiatry · Psychotherapy · Leadership Development
For the firsts — the ones who broke new ground and set a new standard for their family and lineage.
I'm an American Indian, Yale-trained physician and founder of a boutique integrative practice offering psychiatry, psychotherapy, and leadership development.
Who I Work With
First-generation looks different for everyone.
I work with first-generation professionals — people navigating territory nobody in their family walked before them, without a map or a mentor who's already been there.
Education
For some it's education: the first to go to college, the first to finish.
Immigration
For others it's immigration: the first to be born somewhere new, or the first to put down real roots after arriving.
Generational Wealth
Sometimes it's a milestone that quietly changes everything — breaking the cycle of day-to-day survival and building intergenerational wealth, health, and opportunity.
Whatever the specific “first” is, the weight underneath tends to be the same: figuring it out largely alone, carrying more than your own expectations, and wondering — even after you've “made it” — why it still feels so hard.
The Work We Do Together
Going underneath the symptoms.
That's the work we do together — not putting band-aids on symptoms so you can keep pushing through, but going underneath them, so you can trust people, slow down, lead differently, and understand how you got here in the first place.
The Goal
A version of you who can be fully known.
The goal isn't fewer symptoms. It's a version of you who can be fully known by the people around you, who leads from steadiness and confidence instead of proving something, and who finally understands how your story — family, culture, history — shaped the way you move through the world.
